The Great Wine Capitals Best of Wine Tourism Awards for South Australia received a record number of entries this year, with some outstanding applications, celebrating our state’s world-class wine tourism across seven categories.

The South Australian Best of Wine Tourism Awards finalists will go on to compete against the other Great Wine Capitals at the International Best of Wine Tourism Awards at a Gala Dinner in Adelaide on Thursday 8 November 2018. Tickets are limited and are available here.

Minister for Primary Industries and Regional Development Tim Whetstone said it was wonderful to see wine regions from across the state nominated in the world-renowned awards.

“Congratulations to the finalists who represent the state’s well-known wine regions – Adelaide Hills, Barossa, Coonawarra, McLaren Vale and Riverland – and demonstrate excellence in wine tourism offerings and experiences,” said Minister Whetstone.

“We look forward to hosting international wine delegates from across the Great Wine Capitals Global Network and share our world-class wine tourism experiences throughout our regions.”
